*The Council on Costing Out ("CCO") will provide advice to the expert panel that will be determining the cost of providing a sound basic education to all students in New York. The CCO will also organize public engagement forums throughout the state to promote input from parents, teachers, business leaders, taxpayers and other citizens in the costing out process. Members of the CCO need not agree with the final report of the expert panel or with any positions that have been or will be taken by CFE or NYSSBA.
